“Through the lens of fashion, Moana Currents: Dressing Aotearoa Now takes a view on migration, cultural exchange and adaptation in the Pacific, Te Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa. Presented by the New Zealand Fashion Museum with Māngere Arts Centre – Ngā Tohu o Uenuku, it shows how various threads drawn from across the Pacific are woven together to produce new identities in Aotearoa.”
This activity is part of Proud Centres – Auckland Council initiative supporting the 2021 Auckland Pride Festival by transforming arts, community and events venues into Proud Centres and hosting a series of over 150 FREE diverse, inclusive events across Tāmaki Makaurau.
At Level 2 we will implement social distancing and compulsory tracing measures which will have the effect of restricting numbers to each event. At any higher levels the venue will be closed and the event postponed or cancelled. Decisions will be made and implemented immediately on receiving the news. Festival COVID-19 Information ›
