NEW SHOW ADDED Thursday 9pm – all others sold out!

Night of the Queer 2021 transforms tarot to embody the queer spirit, unleashing the magick of a gender-bending, diverse world that embraces Queerness in all its shades. This wild celebration of sexual diversity and freedom reveals the Empresses and Emperors, Kings and Queens that live within us all.

Night of the Queer is an unforgettable journey that shows you should never run from your fate.

Since launching at TAPAC in 2015, Night of the Queer has become a highlight of Auckland Pride Festival, offering a platform for some of Auckland’s most talented queer performers and emerging queer artists.

The show is co-produced by TAPAC and dynamic dance theatre company Luck & Schooney, world class entertainers who are renowned for their heartfelt and sexy shows.

“The room comes alive – the supportive energy a renewing, electric current. It feels like an hour and a half of bodies pressed against us, a mental hug for everyone who has ever felt ‘other.’ Review, Theatre Scenes 2020

This event was made possible through the Pride & Spark Empowerment Initiative.

TAPAC and Luck & Schooney would also like to thank Foundation North, The Rule Foundation, The Coffee Club, Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust and TAPAC’s Arts Partner Waitematā Local Board for their generous support of the 2021 season.
