The February 17th event has been cancelled due to Auckland moving to Alert Level Three on the 14th of February.

In this world premiere, international artist Ivan Lupi offers an intimate yet powerful act of mourning and celebration dedicated to each one of the estimated 100.000 homosexuals who have been arrested, abused and killed during the Holocaust.

The artist will be in the space, repeatedly playing a triangle instrument for 6 days each day for 5 hours straight.

The audience is invited to take active part in the piece by joining it’s peculiar setup and supporting the artist by playing triangles hanging from the ceiling for as long as they wish.

In inviting people to actively take part in the action Lupi creates a device that will produce an evolving sound which will change every time new notes add up, expressing a caring ‘community’ effort.

Opening times:
10th of February: the installation is open to everyone to visit and interact with. From 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
11-12-13/18-19-20 of February: the performance is open to everyone to visit and interact with. From 12pm to 5pm.
13th of February: evening gathering with Ivan Lupi and musicians. From 8pm to 10pm.
20th of February: closing even with Ivan Lupi. From 6pm-8pm
