Continuing our theme of ‘Home’, we turn inward to our own bodies, to the very skin we inhabit. Experiences of queerness often reside in our very own bodies; whether it be the joy we share, the pain we carry or our experiences of our own identity and sexuality. These writers discuss how queer bodies influence their writing. This panel features the creators of the joyously subversive show Reclamation Ria Hiroki and Elyssia R’anee Wilson-Heti, Dunedin-based psychologist and author of Perv Jesse Bering, writer and disability activist Henrietta (Etta) Bollinger, and poet and publisher Jackson Nieuwland.
Chaired by Queer academic and fat studies scholar George Parker.
