Exhibitions from 14-17 of February have been cancelled due to Auckland moving to Alert Level Three on the 14th of February.
Reflections of Pride is an augmented reality installation that allows the public to reflect their support for Pride. A screen set inside Studio One Toi Tū Sidewalk Gallery shows passers by their reflection with rainbow face paint and an animated unicorn horn and flower crown. This allows the audience to take selfies with the effect and post them to social media celebrating Pride Festival.
This activity is part of Proud Centres – Auckland Council initiative supporting the 2021 Auckland Pride Festival by transforming arts, community and events venues into Proud Centres and hosting a series of over 150 FREE diverse, inclusive events across Tāmaki Makaurau.
At Level 2 we will implement social distancing and compulsory tracing measures which will have the effect of restricting numbers to each event. At any higher levels the venue will be closed and the event postponed or cancelled. Decisions will be made and implemented immediately on receiving the news. Festival COVID-19 Information ›
